Privacy Policy
Updated August 3, 2026
In The Pros tracks NFL players by the college they played for. This
policy is described here plainly rather than in dense legal
boilerplate — we'd rather you actually read it.
What we collect
Only what you choose to give us, plus the minimum needed to run
accounts, sign-in, and basic product analytics. No advertising SDKs,
no ad tracking, no selling or sharing data with advertisers.
- Account & sign-in (name, email address, and a
unique account ID, handled for us by our authentication provider,
Clerk) — created when you sign up or sign in to the app.
- Basic product analytics (which screens you view, app
opens, and whether you tap a notification, tied to your account ID via
our analytics provider, PostHog) — used only to understand which
features people actually use, not for advertising. We don't record
screen sessions or capture what you type.
- Purchase history (which in-app purchase you made and
when, tied to your account ID via our payments provider, RevenueCat) —
created only if you buy a Season Pass or bundle. RevenueCat handles
payment processing and receipt validation; we never see or store your
card details.
- Notification preferences (which colleges and update
types you want notified about) — stored via our database provider,
Supabase, only if you set them.
- In-app feedback (your message, and optionally your name
and email if you choose to share them so we can follow up) — only if you
use the feedback button.
- Basic technical context with feedback — which screen
you were on, what was selected (e.g. which college or player), and your
device platform (iOS/Android/web). This is shown to you in the feedback
form before you send it, and exists to help us fix what you're reporting
faster. We don't collect this outside of an actual feedback submission.
- Standard web server logs from hosting the site itself
(e.g. IP address, timestamp, browser type) — the same baseline logging
any website has, not used for tracking or advertising.
We don't collect location, contacts, photos, or camera access, and we
don't use advertising SDKs or ad tracking.
How we use it
- To run your account, remember your followed school(s), and unlock
what you've purchased.
- To send the notifications and email digests you've opted into.
- To follow up on feedback you send us, if you gave us a way to reach you.
- To understand what's working and what's broken in the app.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Where it's stored
Account and sign-in data is held by Clerk, our authentication provider.
Purchase history is held by RevenueCat, our payments provider. Basic
product analytics is held by PostHog. Notification preferences are held
by Supabase, our database provider. Email digests are sent through
Resend. Feedback submissions go directly to Google Forms/Sheets. Each of
these is a processor holding data on our behalf, not infrastructure we
run ourselves.
Your choices
- Every field beyond your feedback message itself is optional, and
feedback submissions are separate from having an account.
- You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from within the
app (tap your profile, then Delete Account).
- You can ask us to delete anything else you've submitted at any
time — contact us at privacy@inthepros.app and we'll remove it.
Children's privacy
In The Pros isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect
information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page as the product changes. Check back if you want
the latest version.

Note: this is a solid, honest description of what the
app actually does, but hasn't had a real legal review — worth getting
one, especially now that real purchases are live.
